I had just got some cheese from the deli at sainburys. I turned away and almost walked into my ex. he was just standing there, looking along the aisle I had been about to walk down.

I headed down the aisle opposite the deli, and practically ran to the checkout, with only a few items in my basket.

Upon reflection, I kind of wish that I had spoke with him. he's lovely, and we are friends... though we hardly ever speak or see each other. he looked great, standing tall and proud. he might have seen me, I think he did, though he didn't turn to look at me... you know how it is at moments like that. thankfully I was looking okay!!

now there is a man who taught me a lot. the best, nicest, sweetest, kindest of lovers that I have ever had, beyond doubt. it brings tears to my eyes to think of him. so strange that I just ran off, and didn't say hello.
